A heartwarming moment when a Mager Team member greets Grandma Rah in front of her home in Suranadi Forest, West Lombok.
Their smiles say it all — even the smallest gesture of kindness can bring light into someone’s day.
That morning, around 9:00 AM, the atmosphere near SMA Negeri 1 Narmada was filled with warmth and purpose. Members of Mager Team gathered once again, bringing along several packages of groceries and sincere smiles. This time, we were preparing for our second visit to Grandma Rah, an elderly woman who lives with her younger sister in the middle of Suranadi Forest, West Lombok.
The visit, held on Friday, October 10, 2025, was part of Mager Team’s monthly social action — a regular movement dedicated to supporting elderly residents and those in need of care and attention.
When we arrived at Grandma Rah’s humble bamboo house, we were greeted with the warmest smiles. Both sisters looked genuinely happy to see us. Her younger sister, full of energy, eagerly shared stories about their daily life in the forest. Soon, she offered us freshly picked cacao fruits straight from their garden — sweet, fresh, and full of simple joy.
We sat together, sharing laughter and stories while savoring the taste of the cacao fruit. The moment was filled with kindness and connection, reminding us how happiness often comes from the simplest things.
Through this small act of kindness, Mager Team hopes to raise awareness that there are still many elderly people living in remote areas, often alone and in need of our support.
We truly believe that big changes always begin with small steps.
Mager Team will continue to move forward — spreading the spirit of care, compassion, and community to every corner of the country. Because true happiness grows when we choose to share it.
